The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (2003)

Mark Haddon
I don’t enjoy much fiction stories, but this one is exception (There are many but few). Novel is narrated in the first-person perspective by Christopher with (autistic spectrum condition). Unique characterization give enough space for writer to deal and express the mental condition and thoughts of 15 year old boy, so no need to have interesting plot(It is interesting but secondary). For me it is applied psychology book to refer how “some” people think. How someone can be truthful throughout life. If M.K.Gandhi’s book “My Experiments with truth” talks about the usage of “Truth” in life and this novel is how someone can be truthful by default and don’t know how to lie (There is no selection button between truth/lies).

It also talks how someone can make mathematics interesting to cool one self. How someone can be capable of making mental maps… truly genius book…
